Developmental-Behavioral + Mental Health Resource site for pedi providers now launched! (And it rules.)
WWW.DBMHRESOURCE.COM. Write it down. Bookmark it immediately. It is fabulous.
Here's why: NAPNAP'S Developmental-Behavioral and Mental Health (DBMH) Special Interest Group (SIG) made a collaborative site that catalogues all their best assets, resources, guides, and screen for pediatric providers.
Now, you might have caught on that this idea sounds a lot like our NP STUDENT site. That is because we helped create/build the site. Our compulsive (some might say obsessive) need to catalog great public resources for our own pediatric specialty overwhelmed us. Once we took the idea to our NAPNAP SIG, we found a few others that wanted to join in the adventure. After a few months of work, the process took on a life of its own... and -- BOOM -- new resource site launched just for you all.
DBMHRESOURCE.COM is organized through 35+ developmental, behavioral and mental health topics, each tagged by age considerations (e.g. infant-neonate, toddler, school-age, adolescence), as well as separate resource pages on primary care-behavioral health integration, prevention, and general community resources. Within each page, the topic is further organized by diagnostic criteria, assessment and screening, position papers and practice parameters, peer-reviewed articles, resources, and organizations.
If you want to get involved with this site, we would love to include you in the further development of this site. There are a few pages left that need some love. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you are interested.
